Saffron is one of my favorite spices which I use a lot. I tend to use it mostly in Jasmin rice which I love and have regularly. The color is so attractive and the health benefits come in abundance whilst using it.

Saffron may be the most expensive spice in the world and come with a price however the benefits are rewarding for our health in abundance.  The main reason Saffron is so expensive is that the flower only produces three threads, so it can take thousands of flowers to get just one ounce of Saffron making this beautiful spice a very time-consuming labor-intensive crop.
